Create a legendary environment, that harnesses the Sani lifestyle and location. To put a spotlight on this world heritage site and turning it into a thriving destination. Developing the identity, image and to conceptualise category experiences that would enhance the brand, grow attraction, and drive revenue.
Solution
Often said “it’s all about the journey, not the destination”, but when rebranding the lodge we wanted it to be all about the destination. Sani boasts with the highest mountain pass in South Africa, which continued to be our mission, to elevate the Sani brand to similar heights. We wanted this feeling to transcend every aspect of the Sani Mountain Lodge experience, and become the central focus of the rebrand. We worked relentlessly to make every visitor feel like an adventurer at each touchpoint. By creating various sub-brands, we expanded the Sani experience to be far more than just a mere mountain lodge. We believed that by creating a new identity for the Sani Mountain Lodge, through influencing their web design, future spaces, brand apparel and overall experiences at the lodge, we have helped them tell their story and reach the full potential of their brand.
